Up for a Pan Am family challenge?

On July 11, 18 and 25th, families can compete in a little of their own Pan Am excitement at Burlington’s Royal Botanical Gardens. The PANORAMA @ RBG Adventure Challenge Course is a wild and fun obstacle course designed to engage the entire family in an exciting and active experience combining teamwork, family strength and participation.

The course is full of family-friendly physical obstacles and problem solving challenges created to test mental and physical skills. The outdoor course winds through the scenic landscape of the RBG Arboretum. Competitors will navigate obstacles such as the “Andean Steps,” the “Caribbean Net,” the “Amazon Swamp” and the “Belizean Beam.” The emphasis is on completion, not competition and the aim is for all participants to have a rewarding outdoor experience. Two course distances will be set up: a 3 km course for children and families and a 5 km course for the more adventurous.

From the impressions of these early participants, this looks like a really fun way to explore Canada’s largest botanical garden:
